Hello Reader, I've been busy the last few weeks writing up and creating the content for the free Colour Palettes Masterclass starting in March. Loads of you have already completed the survey I sent out when you registered for the Masterclass (HUGE thank you to those of you who completed it). If you haven't yet completed it, I'd really appreciate your thoughts as I will be tailoring the content to what you really want to learn about. β
β It's been really interesting to read your responses and learn just how many of you are struggling particularly with your colour values. Which brings me onto this month's free guide... I'm planning on including a part of the Masterclass where I'll talk about how to get a cohesive and balanced colour palette, but I also wanted to give you a pdf guide that you can look over before is starts, so as to understand the reasons why your colour values might not be working. I really hope that you find the guide useful and that it helps you in your work. Being able to achieve cohesion and balance in a design is a learnt skill, which honestly, can take YEARS. Yes you read that right... years! It takes a lot of hard work, many failed attempts before you finally 'get' what it is that you need to include in your colour palettes and how to tweak it, so you achieve that elusive cohesion that we all want. Colour is so powerful in your designs, so never underestimate the use of it! You can have an amazing pattern, but if the colour palette isn't right for the mood/feeling you're trying to evoke in the viewer, then it won't work :( Read the guide and apply the guidance and tips I share and you'll be amazed at how much better your patterns look. β Grab the FREE guide belowβββDOWNLOAD THE TONAL RANGE PDFβ β β Grab the Tonal Range Chart too!β β FREE on-trend Colour palettesI LOVE creating colour palettes so I'm excited to share these new ones with you today.
